What is Tick Red?

Tick Red is the brand-new local mobile voucher service coming to an area near you!

Where can I get it?

Tick Red is being launched exclusively to Norwich and the surrounding area, but will be available in other locations very soon.

Will it cost me money?

No. Tick Red is 100% free to all customers.

How does it work?

Just register for a free account, find the offers that interest you and send them to your mobile at the click of a button. Once you have received the offer text, you'll have until the expiry date on the offer to use it at the advertised location. Simply present the text message to a member of staff to claim the advertised discount.

Are there conditions of use?

Each offer may have specific restrictions on usage, such as time limitations or minimum spends. Whatever the conditions are, you'll find them clearly displayed underneath each offer on our website. We strictly regulate the companies that feature on our site, so if you find an offer that isn't being honoured, or has misleading or incomplete terms of use, just contact us and we will take action against them.

The service is currently only available to UK users, so you must have a mobile phone that is registered to a UK network (i.e. a number beginning +44 (0)). We support all the major UK mobile operators: O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and 3.

Why do I need to register?

We know a lot of internet users like to keep their personal details, well, personal. That's why our registration process only asks for a minimal amount of information that we need in order to provide you with the Tick Red service.

We require registration to verify that you have permission to send offers to the mobile phone number you wish to use. Once this has happened, your account allows you to keep receiving offers without re-verifying the mobile each time.

How is my account activated?

Before you can receive our offers to your mobile, we first require verification that the mobile number you have supplied belongs to your phone. When you register we send a unique code to the mobile via a text message - you must enter this number when prompted to activate your account. The verification text message is completely free and provides security for our users by preventing people registering numbers that don't belong to them.

Is there a limit on offers I can receive?

To prevent abuse, customers are limited to downloading 5 offers in any 24 hour period. Additionally, the same offer may only be downloaded twice in 24 hours. If you are having problems receiving offers, let us know and we'll do everything we can to make sure the service is available to you.

Can you send offers directly to my mobile?

We provide an optional service for each of our offer categories that enables you to receive exclusive offers not visible to other Tick Red users via our website. We call these "Instant Vouchers" - they are sent by a participating business straight to your mobile (via the Tick Red system - your mobile number is never visible to the business). Once you receive the offer, use it exactly as you would a regular voucher.

Will I receive unsolicited text messages?

Absolutely not - we respect your privacy. All of our broadcast services are strictly opt-in, and once activated can be turned off at any time from your profile page.

If you have enabled our Instant Voucher service for any of the offer categories, you can control the number of vouchers you receive by selecting a limit from the respective category page. Alternatively your profile page gives you control of each category's Instant Voucher setting all in one place.

Can I stop a business from sending me offers?

No problem. We realize that not all businesses will appeal to each customer, so if you want to stop receiving offers from one of our featured companies, you can block them via your profile page. Once blocked, the company can no longer broadcast their offers to you, though you can still opt to download their offers via the website.

Can I unsubscribe?

If you want to stop receiving Instant Voucher messages, you can selectively control them as described above. For added privacy, we also offer the facility to suspend all broadcast messages by choosing the option from your profile page. You can suspend for a predefined time period, or permanently if desired.

If Instant Vouchers are disabled, you can browse our offers freely with no obligation to use the service, or simply stop using your account altogether. We keep your details on our secure server, should you wish to use Tick Red again in the future.
